Introducing Recovery Corps – Our newest workforce development program geared to help women strengthen their recovery, learn new skills, get paid, and position themselves for the workforce.

  • A workforce development program
  • A new group of 12 women starts every six months
  • Participants do paid work at Pollen8’s four social enterprises:
    • Café Appalachia
    • Café Appalachia Downtown
    • Café Appalachia Catering
    • Cultiv8 Urban Garden
  • They also complete 10 hours a week of Reintegr8 curriculum covering behavior change and basic life skills.
  • After six months, graduates move into full-time jobs with Community Hiring Partners, employers committed to hiring and supporting women in recovery.

Pollen8 WV Inc. was founded to break the cycle of addiction through its proprietary, social-human sustainability model (Reintegr8), along with her social enterprises (Café Appalachia, Café Appalachia Catering, Café Appalachia Downtown, and Cultiv8). Pollen8 also provides relocation assistance (Reloc8) and workforce development (Recovery Corps) to provide safe environments and work opportunities (during and) after treatment. Pollen8 is currently working to provide licensing opportunities through its scaling program “Replic8.”
